{Oklahoma Trip} We just returned home from babysit {Oklahoma Trip} We just returned home from babysitting these cute 5 nieces + nephews of ours. We had a full 3 days of swimming, bowling, fishing, baking and lots and lots of playing outside. My aunt heart is full and I’m so thankful for all the memories we made. 😎 🎣🎳🏊🏼‍♀️
{Resurrection Day} Thank you Jesus. Thank you for {Resurrection Day} Thank you Jesus. Thank you for the cross. Thank you for taking our sin and sickness so we could be declared righteous and healed. Thank you for instilling in us resurrection power. Thank you that you gave it all for us! I can’t quite come up with words to describe the magnitude of the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus so I’ll just continue to declare thank you, thank you, thank you! We thank you Lord! 😭🙌🏼

What would your beach day include? ☀️ #cctraveldate
{Anniversary Date} Oh so thankful for a beach day {Anniversary Date} Oh so thankful for a beach day followed by a patio dinner to celebrate 11 years with my love! Can’t wait for 70 more to go! 🥳💃🥰
{11 Year Anniversary} Today Colby and I are celebr {11 Year Anniversary} Today Colby and I are celebrating 11 years since “I do.”

To say these 11 years look different than what we originally planned would be an understatement for sure. Never, ever would I have imagined we would be in year 10 of believing for babies, both of us would have quit our jobs, we would be involved in ministry and MORE. Let’s just call the past 11 years an adventure!!! 🤪

Truly, although it wasn’t what we planned I can’t imagine it any other way. Our trials have most definitely refined us in the best way possible! Not only are we closer to each other because of them, but we are closer to Christ too! When I reflect back on the 11 years what comes to mind is Ephesians 3:20 — God truly has blessed us immeasurably more than we could have asked or imagined. And He blessed me with the most amazing husband to be on this adventure with!

Colby has made marriage so wonderful and I know the only reason he is able to daily smother me with love is because he fills himself first with the Father’s love. I am so thankful to have such a steadfast man by my side, always walking in faith and always seeking the truth!

Happy 11 year anniversary @agreatshout. Can’t wait to see what adventures come next. Thankful to be on this wild ride with you! 💥

PS. Swipe to see pictures from our 10 year photoshoot and our wedding day.

PPS. If you are married how many years are you celebrating in 2022? 👰🏻‍♀️🤵‍♂️
{Friday Intro} I am joining @momsinthemaking for F {Friday Intro} I am joining @momsinthemaking for Friday introductions by inviting you to join me for an imaginary lunch date! It would actually be a dream of mine to sit across a table from you. Since that can’t quite happen, we will do the best we can through IG. I would love to get to know you and hear what is on your heart. But first I’ll assume you are new to this space and I’ll share about me.

I was born and raised in Oklahoma and am the first generation in my family to be born in the US. I have 2 older brothers. My favorite memories from being a kid are traveling the world, swimming, sports, and playing lots of Nintendo. I played almost every sport as a child but stuck with soccer and played competitively.

I went to college at Baylor and majored in Finance and Marketing. I worked as a financial analyst for 11 years until leaving the corporate world for ministry in 2017.

I live in Dallas with my husband, Colby. We have been married just under 11 years and have been believing for miracle babies for 10 of those! We need a miracle to conceive a child and we are expecting one to happen any day now. Our infertility journey led us to meeting the Holy Spirit and when we did, absolutely everything changed! I will never stop talking about Him.

Despite what has felt like 15 years of back-to-back trials, I refuse to let my trials define me. My focus during the hardship, grief and suffering has been Jesus and His Word. I have a heart to share the HOPE Jesus has given me with those around me. I do so through @momsinthemaking, a faith-based fertility support group. As well as through @acupfullofhopepodcast and my blog and book, In Due Time. #induetimedevotional

Although it hasn’t happened much lately, Colby and I’s absolute favorite thing to do together is travel the world. I have shared many of our adventures on my blog or at #cctraveldate.

Oh and I love bright colors, sun, lifting weights, delicious salads and WARM weather!😎💃🏻

Okay, now it’s your turn! 👉🏼 If we were out for a lunch date what would you order and what would you want me to know about you? Also, do you have any questions for me? I am also an open book so please ask away. #mitmfridayintro
{March Date Night} Nothing like waiting until the {March Date Night} Nothing like waiting until the last night of the month to squeeze our monthly date night! 💃🏻 Colby and I tried a new restaurant and then went to play putt-putt, which we had never done together. ⛳️ We played at an inside course and let’s just say it was much different than I remember as a kid. 😆 Who knew they could make upscale putt-putt courses?

If you live in Dallas, what activity do you suggest we add to our date night for April?
{A New Season} Last summer when the Lord told us i {A New Season} Last summer when the Lord told us it was a season of new beginnings we had no idea what would be in store. But by the time 2021 had come to an end we had gone through 3 big transitions.

We finally shared about all 3 on episode 133 of @acupfullofhopepodcast and my blog, In Due Time. It feels so good to finally share what has been going on in our world. 🎉

This was the picture I took on Colby’s last day of work. 🥳 I’m so proud of Colby’s dedication and sacrifice all 15 years of his career and I am even more thankful for His obedience to following God’s leading in this new season. It for sure has been a wild adventure these past 9 months and we can’t wait to see what the Lord has for us the next 9! 👊🏼
