17 May 10 Infertility Verses to Declare
Are you going through infertility? So often infertility can be met with information overload, most of which is bad, lots of emotions and fear of the unknown. But I have good news for you today because there is truth in the Bible which will help and encourage you! There are several stories in scripture of couples who went through infertility, which I addressed here, and today I want to focus on infertility verses in the Bible.
I personally believe scripture is the greatest weapon, tool and gift the Lord has given us to fight any battle or trial, including infertility. God’s Word is so powerful! It’s sharper than any two-edged sword and does not return null or void.
If you find yourself in the middle of infertility, please use the scriptures I have outlined below. If you have never used the Word to declare it over your life, then I have set you up to succeed.
You can print the free printable I have provided, which is at the bottom of the post, and then repeat the declarations out loud. In addition to a free printable, I have included several other prior posts with scriptures too. If you are someone going through infertility, I encourage you to use the file specific to healing as well, although the reality is all the other posts on fear, anxiety, etc will help you.
Even if you don’t see the manifestation of God’s Word take place in your life right away, keep speaking out the scriptures. Keep declaring them! Keep planting seeds of truth and life.
Wherever you are in your journey to becoming a parent I am believing with you that you will be a mom (or dad) to many children! Please don’t journey through this alone — make sure to check out the faith-based fertility infertility ministry called Moms in the Making which you can learn more about here. For now, here are infertility verses to declare:
10 Infertility Verses to Declare
“God blessed them and said to them, ‘Be fruitful and increase in number.’” Genesis 1:28
Thank you, Lord, that the original mandate you gave me was to be fruitful and multiply. Thank you that you created your sons and daughters, including me, to create and produce life. I praise you that children are your idea. I declare that although my circumstances dictate otherwise, I am fruitful!
“The Lord will give you prosperity in the land he swore to your ancestors to give you, blessing you with many children, numerous livestock, and abundant crops.” Deuteronomy 28:11
Lord, I thank you that you give me life in my womb and you promise me prosperity. I call forth the many children you have promised my spouse and I and praise you in advance for the blessings that are coming.
“You will be blessed beyond all peoples; there will be no barrenness among you.” Deuteronomy 7:14
Thank you, Father, that I am blessed and you have blessed me to be a blessing to others, including my children to be. Thank you that infertility is not from you and it is not my identity. I declare there will be no barrenness between my spouse and myself and I declare it will not be a part of our future generations either.
“There will be no miscarriages or infertility in your land, and I will give you long, full lives.” Exodus 23:26
Lord, your Word says that there will be no miscarriages or infertility. You promise long and full lives. I call forth life into my womb in Jesus’ name and I cast out all infertility and command it to be gone. I thank you that you created me to be fruitful.
“He gives childless couples a family, gives them joy as the parents of children.” Psalm 113:9
Lord, I thank you that you make every barren woman a joyful mother of children, including me. I thank you in advance for making me fruitful and fertile and giving me a family.
“Children are a gift from the LORD; they are a reward from him.” Psalm 127:3
Thank you, Lord, that all children are a gift and reward from you. You already have them written in the book of life and I praise you in advance for bringing my husband and I our children and blessing us with a reward.
“How joyful are those who fear the Lord—all who follow his ways! You will enjoy the fruit of your labor. How joyful and prosperous you will be! Your wife will be like a fruitful grapevine, flourishing within your home. Your children will be like vigorous young olive trees as they sit around your table. That is the Lord’s blessing for those who fear him.” Psalm 128:1-4
I declare I am like a fruitful grapevine, flourishing within my home. I thank you Father for the blessing of children that is coming my way and I declare that I am fertile and fruitful. Thank you that your joy is my strength.
“You formed my innermost being, shaping my delicate inside and my intricate outside, and wove them all together in my mother’s womb.” Psalm 139:13
Thank you, Lord, for your plans to knit my children in my own womb. Thank you for aligning my body up so I can receive seed and carry a child to full term.
“Now that you belong to Christ, you are the true children of Abraham. You are his heirs, and now all the promises God gave to him belong to you.” Galatians 3:9, 29
Lord, I thank you for the faith and hope Abraham and Sarah’s story releases to my own life. I praise you for blessing Sarah’s womb and giving her a baby. I thank you that your promises were made to Adam and his seed, Jesus Christ. I praise you that I have been made one with Christ and receive the benefits from the covenant made. I call forth those same promises for my family and my womb.
“Sing, O barren one, who did not bear; break forth into singing and cry aloud, you who have not been in labor! For the children of the desolate one will be more than the children of her who is married,” says the Lord. “Enlarge the place of your tent, and let the curtains of your habitations be stretched out; do not hold back; lengthen your cords and strengthen your stakes. For you will spread abroad to the right and to the left, and your offspring will possess the nations and will people the desolate cities.” Isaiah 54:1-3
Lord, in my desolate, dry and barren looking season, I choose to sing and praise! I thank you for having good plans for my family. I thank you that my offspring will make an impact on your Kingdom and in faith, I choose today to expand the place of my tent and prepare for my children to come home.
