12 Ways God Says “I Love You”
Happy Valentine’s Day! I know everyone’s thoughts on this day always range quite a bit; some hate it and some love it. Colby and I never do much besides exchange an occasional card and cook dinner at home. However, today we are heading out-of-town, which had nothing to do with Valentine’s day and more to do with the fact that Monday is a holiday for Colby. Regardless, I know this day can be hard for so many who don’t have a spouse, or lost a spouse or maybe are facing a difficult situation with a relationship, which is what led me to want to remind you of 12 ways God Says “I love you.”
I love that scripture talks so much about love, but not just any love, God’s love. 1 John 4:18-19 says, “we loved because he first loved us.” The whole reason any person can love is because God first loved us. No matter what your Valentine’s Day looks like or who you are spending it with there are plenty of scriptures to reflect on; scriptures displaying the love of God. I pulled together 12 of my favorite ways God says “I love you.” You can download the free printable here: 12 Ways God Says I Love You
I hope as you read these scriptures you have a revelation of just how loved you are by your heavenly Father. His love is perfect! It doesn’t just happen one day a year, it doesn’t waver, it’s not based on who you are or what you do. The Father’s love is relentless, it’s reckless, it’s overwhelming and it’s real. It will change you and everything about you.
