Every Spiritual Blessing

Do you understand the full inheritance that Christ left for you? He paid the ultimate price so that you could live in abundance. He has given you every spiritual blessing!

The problem is most Christians aren’t aware of the inheritance that the Father has left for them and if they are aware, most likely they haven’t accessed it. Hosea 4:6 says, “My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge” and I think many Christians are perishing today.

If we only understood our place in the Kingdom. We have been adopted as sons and daughters and have been given a full inheritance of every spiritual blessing.

Ephesians 1:3 says, “Every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm has already been lavished upon us as a love gift from our wonderful heavenly Father, the Father of our Lord Jesus—all because he sees us wrapped into Christ. This is why we celebrate him with all our hearts!”

Did you notice when Ephesians 1:3 is referring to spiritual blessings it uses the word “every.” It doesn’t say a few or some, it says, “every.” It also says, “has already.” That is because every single blessing from heaven has already been given to you. Which means you already have everything you need.

Before I list some of the spiritual blessings included in Ephesians 1 I want to first point out that you did nothing to earn or deserve this inheritance of blessings. Instead, your Heavenly Father loves you so much He gifted them to you. Does that not just leave you undone?

So what do these spiritual blessings include?

Well if we look specifically within Ephesians 1 we find out some of these blessings:

He chose you to be his very own, joining you to himself (Ephesians 1:4)

He ordained you so that you would be seen as holy in his eyes with an unstained innocence (Ephesians 1:4)

He adopted you as his child (Ephesians 1:5)

He has joined you to Christ (Ephesians 1:7)

He has redeemed you and cancelled out all of your sins (Ephesians 1:7)

He has given you wisdom and practical understanding (Ephesians 1:8)

He has unveiled his secret desires to you (Ephesians 1:9)

He has claimed you as his own (Ephesians 1:11)

He gave you inheritance and destiny (Ephesians 1:11)

He stamped you with the seal of the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13)

This is a very, very, very small list but just the blessings within Ephesians 1:1-13 should change your life. This list should change the way you think and speak. It should change everything for you.

And what does the rest of the Bible say regarding your inheritance? God’s Word is His will and His Word is full of promises for you. When God says He will provide, protect, give you strength in your time of weariness and forgive your sins and heal all your diseases (Philippians 4:19, 2 Thessalonians 3:3, Isaiah 40:29, Psalm 103:2-3) then He will! Again, there are thousands of promises throughout the Bible and the only way you will know them is by reading the Word.

Every promise has already been given to you as a gift. It’s up to you to understand what all the promises are and the only way you will do so is by reading the Word! Don’t miss out on the benefit of being one with Christ and receiving the full inheritance He has gifted to you. Don’t perish any longer! Receive by faith the gifts the Father has given to you!
