Galatians 5:1 Completely Free #278

I can’t imagine there is any Believer who desires to live in bondage. Unfortunately, many Christians are. Galatians 5:1 says, “The Anointed One has set us free—not partially, but completely and wonderfully free!”

Notice this verse says that Jesus did not pay for part of our freedom or a little bit of our freedom, but our complete freedom. That means, we can live free in all areas of our life.

In the areas that you feel the most stuck, you can find freedom. In the areas where you feel the most oppressed, you can find complete freedom. In the areas where you struggle the most, you can find freedom!

This verse is not just referring to freedom from things like addictions, repetitive sins, or an anxious mind, but it’s also the freedom you can walk in with Christ. Meaning, you don’t have to live bound to rules or a check-list, but Jesus paid the way so you can walk in freedom with him.

What areas of your life do you need freedom in? Know that in your own strength, it will be impossible to live out Galatians 5:1. But through the power of the Holy Spirit you can be completely set free from anything and everything that is holding you back from living a life of complete freedom.
