Hebrews 6 - God is fair

Hebrews 6:10 God is Fair #171

Life doesn’t seem fair,  does it? How often do you feel like all those around you are getting the one thing you want? People might not treat you fairly, including co-workers, family members and complete strangers. But God? He is a fair and he is just. Hebrews 6:10 says, “God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.”

Are you feeling forgotten today? Are you tired of praying because your prayers aren’t being answered? Are you tired of asking because your circumstances haven’t changed? Are you tired of serving faithfully, tithing, loving others, and being obedient to Christ?

It’s easy to get discouraged, especially if you have been in a long wait, but God is a fair God. He hasn’t forgotten you. He hasn’t overlooked you. He isn’t mad at you. He isn’t disappointed in you. Instead, he knows your every heart beat. He sees how well you serve your community. He knows that you have placed your faith in him. He is thankful for your obedience. Don’t let the lack of praise and rewards distract you from trusting that God loves you and is for you.

God doesn’t want you to become lazy because you haven’t seen justice manifest or received answers to your prayers. “Through faith and patience inherit what has been promised” Hebrews 6:12. Remain faithful to God in all you do and all you say. People might disappoint you and they might treat you unjustly, but there is one person who never will and that is your heavenly Father. Press forward and trust that you will inherit what has been promised at just the perfect time and whatever you go through know that God is always fair.

I needed this for a long time. I knew God loved me and as a Kings kid I was doing the best I can to serve him with all my heart… For years I kept pressing on the two days ago a dear profet of God friended me on Facebook just to tell me the verse in Hebrew s…I really hit home…He told me something else too that made me feel like I was getting a hug from God himself..
