Isaiah 46:4 – He Sustains #127

I can’t get enough of Isaiah lately. Isaiah 46 talks about the false gods of Babylon who had absolutely no power even though people were worshiping them. Aren’t you glad our God is different? Just as Isaiah 46:4 says, “I will be your God throughout your lifetime–until your hair is white with age. I made you, and I will care for you. I will carry you along and save you.”

God is with you from your time of birth to your time of death. He made you and He will care for you. That is a declaration and a promise that He has made, so it shouldn’t be taken lightly. He is never going to leave you and He will never change from being omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient. Although people around you and people of this world might be shady or forget to follow up on their promises, He never will. He loves you SO much that He will always care for you and sustain you throughout your lifetime.

God is always going to carry you. It doesn’t matter your age or your past history, He is with you and He loves you. He will sustain and rescue you as you seek Him. Whenever you are feeling down declare this verse over your life. Know that He is with you every step of the way!

I love this…this is a verse we should all meditate on every morning. So many people will tell you that God is for you and that He loves you but at the same time not realize that the same is true for them. We should remember this little verse as often as possible until we finally believe it!

Such a beautiful reminder. My schedule is off- this morning, I didn’t do my morning Bible and prayer time. But God is still here, still with me, even if I’m not in the chair where I usually read, even when I don’t have the journal I usually use. I can have relationship with Him no matter where I am. He’s here!

Love this! The enemy would like us to pick up guilt, shame and insecurities but Our God sings over us (Zeph. 3:17) and Jesus came to give us abundant life. Thank you for sharing this verse, I’m gonna carry it with me. 😉

Beautiful verse. And after your last post, I’m imagining white-haired older Caroline writing you a letter back telling you how amazing God’s plan for your life turned out to be : )

I love this especially the reminder that our past does not matter to Him. Our homilist said on Sunday, “Jesus is not in the business of throwing stones”. God is love. A love so big we can’t imagine or comprehend! Thank you for the reminder that no matter what, He is there!!

Yes, I am so very glad our God is different. I’m glad that God is powerful and will be our God even when our hair is white with age–which mine is quickly turning. Thank you for these awesome devotional thoughts. It was such a great way to start today!

I so enjoy this verse. Now for the white hair, well that may need to be remedied, ha, but the sentiment of his care and it’s everlasting effects are ones I cherish. 🙂
