10 May Jesus Calling
A friends’ mom sent me a devotional, Jesus Calling by Sarah Young. It gives the perspective from scripture of Jesus talking to the reader. I opened to a random page and read this one first:
Come to me with all your weaknesses: physical, emotional, and spiritual. Rest in the comfort of My Presence, remember that nothing is impossible with Me (Luke 1:37).
Pry your mind away from your problems so you can focus your attention on Me. Recall that I am able to do immeasurable more than all you ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20-21). Instead of trying to direct Me to do this and that, seek to attune yourself to what I am already doing.
When anxiety attempts to wedge its way into your thoughts, remind yourself that I am your Shepherd (Psalm 23:1-4). The bottom line is that I am taking care of you; therefore, you needn’t be afraid of anything. Rather than trying to maintain control over life, abandon yourself to My will. Though this may feel frightening – even dangerous, the safest place to be is in My will.
My summary: Nothing is impossible for God, He is able to do way more than we could ever imagine and we shouldn’t be afraid. Being with Him is the safest place because He is in complete control and will take care of us. God is good!

Posted at 21:58h, 12 MayI found this blog through a fertility forum, my husband and I are going through a very similar situation. I’m diagnosed as healthy but he has had two SA’s with 0 sperm counts. He is 24 and I am 26 and we have been TTC for almost two years. It’s only been a couple months since we started getting answers, we have to go back to the UA for a test to see if he has retrograde ejaculation. I know I’m sharing a lot with a stranger but I feel that God has lead me to your blog to say that you are not alone. I feel alone in our situation a lot and with our young age so many of our friends easily conceive and it’s extremely disheartening. I would love to chat with you. Could we exchange emails? Mine is my name below with a dot between my first and last at gmail.com. I will pray for you and your husband!
