Memory Monday – Week 38

I love the definition of abundance; great or plentiful amount. Fullness to overflowing. Degree of plentifulness.

What powerful words. This is the life God intends us to live. An abundant life. He wants us to live a great life. A plentiful life. A life full and overflowing. A life of plentifulness.

So many of us miss how God wants us to live. We settle. We remain in bondage. We are held captive to sin, fear, doubt, broken relationships, jealousy, bitterness, financial restraints, etc etc.

This is what the enemy wants. He loves to see us suffer. 1 Peter 5:8 says the enemy comes as a roaring lion. Can you imagine standing in a field and being attacked by a lion? It’s the same way the enemy acts in the spiritual realm. He is ready to kill, steal, and destroy. He wants to attack your marriage, your workplace, your relationships, your finances, your family, your church, your health, and your ability to conceive.

The enemy takes away life, but the Lord comes to give it abundantly.

Thankfully, because of what Jesus did on the cross we have COMPLETE victory. We don’t have to be held in bondage to any of those attacks. Instead, we can live in complete freedom and live an abundant life. He desires it for us. He wants it for us. It’s what He created.

Stop settling for less than what the Lord desires for you. He desires big things. He gives big things. There are two people who will prevent those from manifesting. The enemy and your own self-will. Choose Him! Choose a life of freedom and joy and peace and love! Live abundantly!

Been talking to Little K about this concept and how we are to “guard our heart and mind in Christ Jesus” so that we can stand up to these attacks. great verse!

“And have it to the full..” So important to remember. Not just part of the way or somewhat but FULL.

Yes I needed to hear this today. I feel like I need to be more excited about God’s will in my life. I am in one moment and then in another I have been worried. Caroline please pray for me, I know God is doing big things in my life right now and moving heavy mountains for me. The devil knows it too so he’s been trying to hang around more than usual. I have been fighting him with the word – I need more prayers. Thanks in advance my sweet friend. Love you!!
