Memory Monday – Week 100
100 verses! Praise Jesus! So thankful for all the verses He has given me to share. Today, I am sharing Psalm 37:34 from the Passion Translation. If you have never heard of this translation or don’t know what it is, be on the lookout because I will be doing a giveaway later this week.
“So don’t be impatient for the Lord to act;
Keep moving forward steadily in his ways,
And he will exalt you at the right time.
And when he does, you will possess every promise,
Including your full inheritance.”Β Psalm 37:34
Psalm 37:34 calls us to wait on the Lord. Not impatiently. Not with a bad attitude. Not wrapped in bitterness. But, with expectation, confidence, faith, hope, and joy. It’s natural that when we wait on the Lord we will move forward in His ways. We won’t be stuck. We won’t be sitting still. We won’t move forward on our own, but when we partner with and obey the Lord we can trust that He will guide our steps.
When we trust Him to guide us, we will possess every promise He has given us. We won’t inherit them early and we won’t inherit them late, but at the exact timing the Lord has appointed. He desires to give us a full inheritance and in fact 5 times in Psalm 37 David speaks of the promises the people would inherit.
God has a full inheritance for you. I don’t know about you, but I want 100% of my inheritance. I wait expectantly that He will reveal my full inheritance to me and I want to be obedient to Him so I receive it all. I don’t want to miss out on anything He has for me. Wait for the Lord and follow Him obediently –Β at the appointed timeΒ you will inherit all the promises He has for you.

Posted at 18:31h, 27 JulyThank you so much for sharing this bible verse. I love it. It is definitely where I am at in this point of my life. I moved halfway across the world to start a new life and right now it seems that everything is on hold. I don’t have a job yet, I’m still learning how to drive, all sorts of things. Being patient has been a struggle, especially when I am not used to being idle. But as the days go by I know that during this idle time Jesus is working on me and preparing me for what lies ahead. Thank you for sharing this verse with all of us. God bless you always!

Posted at 20:43h, 27 JulyWhat a great verse! We are to wait on God and not with our bad, entitled attitude. We need to remember that waiting is learning too. God works in his time not ours.

Posted at 11:21h, 28 JulyAwesome — love it! I think it’s also important to remember that our inheritance and blessings usually come in the form of struggles, challenges, and the “refining fire of affliction.”
And can I just say that I’m totally smitten with your logo? It’s precious!
