Memory Monday – Week 101

As a believer, your destiny is filled with hope. Knowing that you get to meet Jesus face to face and spend eternity with Him in Heaven should be very encouraging to you. However, that doesn’t mean you don’t have to take life here on earth seriously. Whether you live one more day or 99 more years, you have purpose. 1 Corinthians 15:58 says, “So, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and immovable. Always work enthusiastically for the Lord, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless.”

You are called to be steadfast, immovable, always abounding, and always excelling. God desires that you are always moving forward, not only in your relationship with Him, but in all aspects of life. He desires for you to be growing and maturing at all times.

Nothing you do is useless. Cleaning the kitchen is important to Him and leading someone to Christ is important to Him. You might be undervalued or unappreciated by others, but God sees your every move and is proud of you. He notices your hard work, and with Him, your labor is never in vain.

Don’t quit. Don’t change direction. Keep moving forward with what you are doing. Be purposeful as you work for the Lord as nothing you do here on earth for Him is a waste.

Such a sweet perspective! It is easy to forget the value in doing the little things. Thank you for the reminder that EVERYTHING can be meaningful when done for His glory! Love you sweet girl ?

I have learnt first hand that this verse is true. I spent more than a decade teaching Sunday school class and have not regretted it. My students are now grown up and guess what? Our relationships are no more teacher and student but great friendships…Nothing we do for God is in vain.

Great words of encouragement. Remembering that every day God gives us is a chance to take a step to be more involved with in His work.

    Thanks for sharing.

It’s nice to remember sometimes that cleaning up the 17th juice spill from my 2 year-olds sippy cup is something that God smiles about. It’s mundane to me, but it’s service to my family.

I love that you add that you may not always feel appreciated, but God sees what you do and is proud. I think I need to remember that for the next time I feel defeated. Thanks so much Caroline for yet another inspiring post!

Yes! Such wonderful and encouraging words.

This morning I was doing the dishes and thinking how much I hate doing the dishes. However, I was reminded that if I give God the glory and do the dishes for Him, I’ll be happier… I did and I was!

    He is so good.

    Blessings to you my friend.

When I speak to ladies I always remind them “if it matters to you – “IT” matters to GOD! – no matter how big or small.
