Memory Monday – Week 28
I was asking the Lord which verse to share this week and as I was having a quiet time on Saturday, I knew He wanted me to share 2 Timothy 2:13. I think someone needs to hear/read this verse and my hope is that everyone finds it encouraging.
If we are faithless, He remains faithful. Isn’t it great that no matter how much we turn from Jesus, or how much we fall away, He never changes? He still remains faithful. He never leaves or forsakes us – Deuteronomy 31:6. The faithlessness of us never disproves the faithfulness of God. We might change, but He remains the same!
It’s that simple. We have a God who loves us so much that no matter how much we sin, fall away, turn our back, reject, and disengage ourselves from Him, He stays faithful to us. Does this allow us to do whatever we want, whenever we want? No, of course not. When we refuse to have a relationship with Him, we break our fellowship and face consequences, but regardless He never, ever, ever turns His back on us. He is with us, to the very end of the age. Matthew 28:20
