Memory Monday – Week 81
Today I’m sharing Hebrews 4:16, which says, “Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”
What a beautiful invitation for all Christians. This verse calls us to approach the throne of the Lord with confidence. Isn’t it so humbling that we can approach the throne of grace boldly? We don’t have to be shy, scared, intimidated, etc. No matter who we are or what our background is, God is completely approachable. Not only does He give us Mercy, which is not getting the punishment that we do deserve, but God gives us grace as well, which is when we get favor that we don’t deserve. He desires for us to approach Him so He can offer himself to us.
The preceding verse in Hebrews 4:15 tells us that Jesus has experienced all the struggles we have. He can and wants to sympathize with us. He wants us to communicate with Him and He has come to help us, no matter what we are facing! Whatever is holding you back from approaching Jesus, I pray you can let it go and allow Him to help you in your time of need.
