No Longer Slaves

My guess is I have already listened to the song, No Longer Slaves by Bethel, hundreds of times since it was released in January. There is something about turning on worship and being in the presence of the Lord that is so powerful. On the hard days, it is a must. Bethel has such an anointing and all of their music makes me want to worship all day. Some of their other songs I have shared are:

I am so thankful that we no longer have to live as slaves to fear. Not just slaves to fear, but we can live in freedom in all areas. If you haven’t listened to this song yet, I highly encourage it!

No Longer Slaves
You unravel me, with a melody
You surround me with a song
Of deliverance, from my enemies
Till all my fears are gone

I’m no longer a slave to fear
I am a child of God
I’m no longer a slave to fear
I am a child of God

From my mothers womb
You have chosen me
Love has called my name
I’ve been born again, into your family
Your blood flows through my veins

I’m no longer a slave to fear
I am a child of God
I’m no longer a slave to fear
I am a child of God
I’m no longer a slave to fear
I am a child of God
I’m no longer a slave to fear
I am a child of God

I am surrounded
by the arms of the father
I am surrounded
by songs of deliverance

We’ve been deliberated
from our bondage
We are the sons and the daughters
Let us sing our freedom

You split the sea
So I could walk right through it
All my fears were drowned in perfect love
You rescued me
So I could stand and sing
I am child of God

Bethel no longer slaves

SUCH a good song! My favorite Bethel song is “Closer”. My sister-in-law led us in worship at church with that song and I LOST it. I listen to Bethel Music all day at work, along with some others.

Music moves us – shapes our emotions and pushes us to action.

My favorite hymn is either Precious Lord, Take My Hand or from the Taize tradition, Be Still and Know.

Hi Caroline. Love this song. I love how freeing music can make us feel. I have it playing most days. Couple more weeks before I head your way. Let me know if you are in town for a quick cup of coffee.

I bought the Bethel “We Will Not be Shaken” CD last month and have it on repeat in my car. I LOVE it. So many awesome songs on there.

Oh my gosh, i am SO loving Bethel Music right now! A few months ago, my friend & I went to a Bethel Night of Worship, and we had no idea how big they were…the line wrapped around the building. During the worship, i experienced the presence of God like i haven’t in a LONG time. I spent time with God, and I know He is there at my church, but it felt almost tangible in that service with Bethel. They prayed for healing & he actually said “I feel like there are women here who have been unable to conceive, God is healing you right now!” My friend & I looked at each other with our eyes wide! (Forgive me if i’ve already told you this before!) Anyway, i got their cd & have played it non-stop ever since. My favorites are “it is well” & “come to me”. I don’t think I know “In Your Light”, though. I also loved “Ever Be” which they sang at the service but isn’t on the cd i got. Powerful worship right there!! 🙂
