22 Feb Praise Before My Breakthrough

The song I have been listening to on repeat since May of 2018 is Raise a Hallelujah, which I shared here but a close second is Praise Before a Breakthrough by Bryan and Katie Torwalt, which was released last November. Although I think the lyrics speak for themselves, I especially love the three lines, “I’ll praise before my breakthrough. Til my song becomes my triumph. I will sing because I trust You.”

I think praising before receiving a breakthrough is one of the most powerful things you and I can do. I imagine that it brings the Father utmost delight, telling him thank you before seeing the promise. The reality is no matter what your situation or circumstances look like now, he is worthy of all praise and adoration.
