Psalm 18:30 God’s Perfect Path #144
How beautiful is this Psalm from the Passion Translation which says, “What a God you are! Your path for me has been perfect! All your promises have proven true. Who turn to hide themselves in you! You are the wrap-around God giving grace to me.” Psalm 18:30
What a God he is! Do you realize that God’s plans for you are perfect? There are no flaws in them. He knows exactly what he is doing. God’s timing is perfect and his promises to you are perfect as well. Every promise he has ever made will be proven true. His promises are always “yes” and “amen” and everything he has spoken will happen! There is truly no other like him!
God shields every person who takes refuge in him. He is waiting to wrap his arms around you and give you the grace you need to face each and every day. But, as this verse says, you have to turn to him. Are you choosing to hide yourself in him or other things or other people? Hide yourself in him and watch as every one of his plans unfolds!

Posted at 08:57h, 15 AugustI will never forget the day I lost my job and was driving home so unsure of how to break the news to my family. Just minutes from my destination, I heard “Good, Good Father” on the radio and the bridge, “you are perfect in all of your ways,” stuck out like never before to me. In the midst of the lies, confusion and frustration, those words spoke such peace to me. And who knew that three weeks later I would have a brand new job doing what I wanted to do? His ways ARE perfect!! A few months ago I was wondering if those words were actually scripture and where they were actually found. I forgot to look it up and a little while later, I was scrambling for my Grandma’s Bible to read instead of mine. I randomly opened her Bible and my eyes were immediately drawn to what she had underlined on the page I had turned to: “As for the Lord, his way is perfect.” Psalm 18:30. Got my answer and had to jump start my heart for a sec…LOL Thanks for this wonderful reminder!! 🙂

Posted at 07:38h, 16 AugustThere is so much more joy on God’s path than on our own. We waste too much time worried when things don’t go our way, only to find God had something better! Following God has made my life much more exciting–from adopting, to moving, to switching careers. God knew it all ahead of time.

Posted at 20:59h, 08 SeptemberI need this reminder that God’s way is perfect. As my life is not going at all what I would deem “perfect”, in reality I am His, and if He has control of my life, then I need to not be so stressed about the way it is going.
