29 Feb Romans 8:35 – Endless Love #123
Romans 8:35-36 is a passage that was written to the church as they were about to face trials and persecution. Romans 8:35 in the Passion Translation says “Who could ever separate us from the endless love of God’s Anointed One? Absolutely no one! For nothing in the universe has the power to diminish his love toward us. Troubles, pressures, and problems are unable to come between us and heaven’s love.”
This verse confirms that nothing can separate God’s love from you. It doesn’t matter what you have or haven’t done, where you are, or who you are, you can always be in the center of His perfect love. With God on your side you can’t lose! He already put everything on the line for you and since God is for you, nothing can be against you. He has conquered death, defeated the enemy, and paid for a lifetime of loving you.
What about the trials you are facing? The pressure you are up against? The persecution you have received from others? The dangers you are surrounded by? Death that you have faced? And those deprivations? None of those situations can stop God from pursuing and loving you.
Don’t let your current trials hold you back from receiving an outpouring of love from the Father. God has good in store for you and absolutely nothing is able to come between you and heaven’s love.
