Scripture Declarations: Fear
A few weeks ago I shared scripture declarations for fertility. Today I want to share about the topic of fear. Why declare scripture? There is so much power when we use God’s word to speak it over our lives. When we speak the word faith is released and an environment is created for things to change in the supernatural realm. The Lord has already given us the tools we need to call forth His promises and it’s our job to study, know, and declare the word of God. Below is a printable of the following scriptures and declarations on fear. You will see faith manifested and fear dismissed when speaking these out-loud.
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but one of power, love, and sound mind.” –Β 2 Timothy 1:7
We thank you Jesus for a Spirit of power, love, and self-control. We dismiss all fear and recognize it never comes from you. We call forth your Spirit in our livesΒ and walk in the sound mind you have given us.
“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.” –Β Psalm 23:4
Thank you Jesus that no matter what I go through you are with me. You are there to comfort me. I have nothing to fear because of your presence with me.
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” –Β Isaiah 41:10
I will not fear anything, because you are with me. I trust that you will strengthen and help me and hold me near despite what I go through. Thank you for upholding me in your hands.
“In my distress I prayed to the Lord, and the Lord answered me and set me free.Β The Lord is for me, so I will have no fear.Β What can mere people do to me?” – Psalm 118:5-6Β
Thank you Lord that you hear and listen to every one of my prayers. You bring freedom when I enter your presence. I know that when you are on my side I have nothing to fear. There is nothing that man can do to hurt me, because you are with me.
But the angel said to her, βDo not be afraid, Mary; you have found favor with God.” –Β Luke 1:30
Lord, Thank you for your favor on my life. I choose to recognize all that you have blessed me with and dismiss all thoughts of negativity and fear.
“I sought the LORD, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears.” – Psalm 34:4
Thank you Lord that you answer me and deliver me. I never have to walk in fear because you are with me. When I seek you, you listen.
Scripture Declarations for Fear

Posted at 08:18h, 24 SeptemberWhat a wonderful collection of scriptures. Sometimes fear creeps into my life. It usually piggy-backs on anxiety. I’ll definitely be using and declaring these scriptures.
This is so timely for me because we have my daughter’s milk challenge test tomorrow. I was handling it well until she expressed her own fears about it yesterday and said she was “scared because she doesn’t want to stop breathing because when you stop breathing that means you’re dead”. Her statement sickened and terrified me all at once.
So thank you my friend. I will be dwelling on these today and tomorrow.
xoxo

Posted at 09:35h, 24 SeptemberI can’t tell you what perfect timing this is for me! It’s funny- I’ve never been a fearful person but lately I’ve been obsessed with reading the news and all the scary things out there have made me completely fearful. I was lying in bed last night, thinking what if something happens? And i had to quiet my soul and say “it is well.” But this list of scripture is definitely getting saved.

Posted at 09:55h, 26 SeptemberFear can be so immobilizing and keep us from our true path. Thanks for this post! I’m about to start IVF and I have some pretty major fears about it not working, but I have to put it in God’s hands and have faith that everything will work out exactly as it’s supposed to.

Posted at 14:58h, 27 Septemberoh caroline, these absolutely beautiful, and so relevant right now. i was so, so happy to get pregnant, but i’m praying daily to stop being fearful that i’ll have another miscarriage — going to read more on your scripture, and put 2 Timothy 1:7 on my screensaver π

Posted at 15:56h, 27 Septemberyou know what’s weird? i was riding in the back of my parent’s car out of state a few weekends back, and randomly saw 2 Tim 1:7 on the church’s digital signage out by the highway and immediately thought of you! “Funny” how it’s your first scripture – I don’t think I shared that with you, but every time I think of you in the past few weeks I immediately think of that scripture. God has already given us what we’re supposed to have – a spirt of power, love AND a SOUND MIND – time to tap in, delcare it and reap our harvest!!! xoxo

Posted at 12:41h, 03 JuneWonderful! Indeed God didn’t give us the spirit of fear but POWER, LOVE and a SOUND MIND. Praise God. More people in the church should read this and digest this important information. Thank you for writing this.
