Scriptures on Peace

Declaring scripture has become so important to me. What is the purpose? When we declare God’s truth we are creating a presence for it to manifest in our lives. Not only is reading the word important, but knowing it and declaring it is powerful too. No matter what situations you face, God’s word can always help get you through.

Today I am sharing declarations on the topic of peace. This world is filled with so much anxiety and worry, but as believers that doesn’t have to be the case, you can live in peace at all times because the Holy Spirit lives in you!

Below are scriptures to declare for those times when your anxiety and stress are overwhelming you. If you have never done declarations before, you can read straight from the attachment. Remember, your words have power, which is why it is important to declare what the word of God has already said about your situation. Scripture Declarations

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7

Lord, in every situation we come to you by prayer and petition. We give you our current problem and ask that you would take our anxiety and replace it with your peace. We thank you that your perfect peace guards our hearts and minds.

“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” John 14:27 

Lord, we thank you that you do not give as the world gives, but even in extremely hard trials you give us your perfect peace. We break off all fear and worry and ask that your peace would overwhelm our minds and bodies.

“These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” John 16:33

Lord, we praise you that you have overcome the world. We rejoice and rest in the victory that we have received because of what you have done for us. We ask that your perfect peace would transcend within us.

“The Lord gives strength to his people; the Lord blesses his people with peace.” Psalm 29:11

Lord, we thank you that you are our strength. Thank you that as we face trials you bless us with your perfect peace.

“You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you.” Isaiah 26:3

Lord, we thank you that as we seek and put our trust in you, you reward us with your peace. Thank you for keeping our mind steadfast and fixed on you.

“And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful.” Colossians 3:15

Lord, we thank you that you rule in our hearts. We ask for more of you and more of your peace. We thank you for surrounding us with your presence.

“For God is not a God of confusion but of peace.” 1 Corinthians 14:33

Lord, we thank you that you are on our team and you are a father who loves us. Thank you that you have not come to bring confusion to our lives, but we declare that you are a God of peace who desires for us to team up with you to walk anxiety and stress free.

“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6

Lord, thank you that you sent your son to reign. We thank you that He is our Prince of peace wherever we go. Thank you Lord that your presence is always with us.
