Why I Still Have Hope Despite Facing an Impossible Situation
It’s been 4,300 days of waiting to grow a family. Our diagnosis is absolutely impossible.
And yet, I feel like I’m about to burst with hopeful expectation….
If I were to focus solely on the facts, I would undoubtedly feel discouraged, hopeless, and defeated. But when I look to Scripture and the nature and character of God, hope abounds!
The same God who performed miracles like feeding 5,000 with two loaves of bread and five fish, turning water into wine, blessing Sarah and Abraham with a baby in their 90s, healing the sick, and raising the dead in the Bible is the same God who exists today. Nothing about Him has changed.
I have chosen to renew my mind with these stories instead of focusing on the doctor’s report. I have decided to walk by faith, believing that the same God who performed miracle after miracle in the Bible can perform a miracle for me! I have chosen to believe that there is not one thing that is too hard for our God!
As I have put my hope and trust in Him and His Word, He has supernaturally filled me with HOPE! It’s indescribable and uncontainable.
You have access to this same God of HOPE! If you’re going through an impossible situation, I encourage you to renew your mind with the Word of God. Recognize that what seems impossible to man is possible for God. Declare the truths in the Word over your life until you believe them to be true. Remember that God’s Word has the final say in your life, not your circumstance or situation. Be expectant of what He can do for you because NOTHING is too hard for our God! 🙌🏼
