29 Jun Blood Results – Round 4
It had been just over a year since the last time I had my blood drawn to check my hormone levels, until just a few weeks ago when I got my levels checked again. We often get asked if we have had any recent doctors appointments and besides my annual appointments, the answer is always ‘no’.
If you are new and haven’t read, we are not pursing any treatments. Sounds silly right? Shouldn’t we be pursuing something if we want a baby? IVF? Adoption? Why aren’t we? Why is my extreme Type A personality sitting back and doing nothing? Well, because that is what the Lord has told us to do. Nothing…
The only time I have gotten my blood tested is when I’m in for my annual ob appt. Since I receive incentives from my company for being within range for the lipid panel, I get my hormone panel checked at the same time. For the first time ever I got my AMH level tested.
Praise the Lord everything including my lipid panel came back within normal range! And, my FSH was the lowest it’s ever been! God is so good! Honestly, to me – these are just numbers, but it’s still encouraging to receive a good report. The doctor told me because my AMH is borderline that I needed to consult with a fertility specialist, but clearly she doesn’t know that MY GOD is bigger than any blood test! We are putting ALL of our trust in HIM!
- AMH – 1.6
- FSH – 9.1
- LH – 5.8
- Prolactin – 8.2
- Estriadol- 35

Posted at 12:53h, 29 JuneThrilled that you are trusting God in this. Be sure to remember that your very Big and Awesome God can do anything, but He also created medicine and doctors. And His route doesn’t have to be an obvious Red Sea/Water to wine kind of event to be a miracle. Our baby was a miracle through an agency, but every step to get to her was at just the right time, the money we needed appeared, the people we met that directed our path, everything converged to a very traditional agency adoption that happened in weeks once we had our home study finished. It was crazy. We were on the list to holding a baby in less than 10 weeks. EEK. Miracles happen in our hearts when God says move and we obey. Praying for you to be always sure of His will!
