Blood Results

I survived my blood test yesterday! The main reason is because I got a call from my ob about my pap smear results and the results were abnormal. Because of that, my mind was somewhere else, and thankfully not focused on the blood results.

Anyway, I just got back the results and even though some levels are much better (thyroid and prolactin), my FSH is even worse 🙁 Tears.

TSH = 2.21
LH = 6.7
FSH = 11.6
Prolactin = 13

Also, due to the abnormal pap, I’ll be getting a colposcopy this coming Monday. Prayers are appreciated!

    Yuck Caroline, just yuck! I’m so sorry girl! Keep in mind that lots of abnormal paps turn out to be nothing. I know several women who get abnormals all the time, but upon further look, it’s all okay. But I can definitely understand the tears! Lots of prayers for you tonight!

    Oh girl, I’m so sorry! 🙁 I have no idea what a colposcopy is, but it definitely doesn’t sound fun at all. Praying for you…keep us updated!

    I’m so sorry! Praying for you to receive peace and clarity for next steps.

    I had the abnormal pap/colposcopy thing over the summer. Here if you want to talk!

    Ugh, sorry you have to go through this.. It’s definitely some hard stuff. 🙁

    So I was looking at your timeline and noticed that you’ve only had your FSH levels tested. Does your doctor test AMH? I’ve heard commentaries that FSH testing is becoming obsolete. I only say this because my FSH was 9.2 but my AMH (which indicates egg reserve) was 4.98 which is really good. Anyway, it might be worth asking for it and possibly/hopefully setting your mind at ease. Oh and the test he ordered was processed at a lab in MA and ended up only costing $35, and we don’t have any insurance coverage.

    Hope this helps!

    I really felt it on my heart to write my prayer down for you.

    God I bring the Harries up to you. I just pray that Carolines body is aligned to heaven and that any abnormalities found are corrected, that her reproductive system will do what You intended it to do. That all hormone levels are back in balance, that her womb is hospitable and tube are clear, and that her womb is hospitable and will accept a healthy egg. That sperm is healthy, mobile, strong and are abundant. In your word it promises that He will protect us from sickness and that none shall miscarry or be infertile in His land. (Exodus 23:25-26 NLT) It also says that all the promises of God are YES and AMEN (2 Cor 1:20) I just speak that over the Harries lives. We speak blessing and abundance. In Jesus name AMEN!

    I am sorry to hear about your TSH but “andshewaits” has a good point. See if you can get your AMH tested. My prayers continue to be with you!!!

    I’m a bit behind in reading, so I hope that your procedure went well yesterday.
