Chloe – A Video Testimony

I was so thankful when Walt sent me his video testimony a few months ago. The love of the father and His faithfulness just completely blew me away after watching it. Their testimony of going from infertility to then becoming parents is so powerful and I can’t wait for a similar testimony for Colby and I! I love that the Lord already knows – always! This is worth you watching! It is a little long, but I promise you will not be dissapointed. I also wanted to share this note from Walt:

“This was such a special project for me, because I got to live through it. For 5 years I’ve wanted to make Chloe’s story into a film and the opportunity came when we moved back to the states from Germany to work with Moving Works. I am so excited that God has allowed us to be part of a much bigger story than we could ever have imagined. We were blessed to have so many people around the world praying for this future child named Chloe. I am truly grateful to these people for their support and prayers and I’m excited to share this film with all of the people who had a part in it.

My hope is that this film encourages many people who have struggled with infertility, have gone through the process of waiting for a child, or are just trying to trust God for their future. God really showed us, through this process, how much He loves us and desires to be in relationship with us. He had a perfect plan to bring Chloe into this world, in His perfect timing and for His Glory. I am in awe of God’s work and I am so grateful to Him for including me in it. He has graciously allowed us to be a part of this little girl’s life and Annie and I are so excited to see what God does in her heart and through her life.”

Omg…bawling crying. Love this story so much, thanks for sharing. And I can totally relate to her shift in feeling like I will be ok and secure and happy with or without a child. That God’s love and plan for me is enough.

Can you say ugly cry? Oh my! How this videoo has blessed me. I’m sitting here in the break room at work just crying. Like the dry heave cry. I know how she felt when she thought God was being mean and I now know how she felt when peace began to rule her heart. Understanding that His plan for us is far greater than any plan I could ever imagine. Now I can say , God we want what you want for us. Your plan be done in our lives. Thanks for sharing Caroline……….

Oh my!! This was AMAZING! At a time when I felt God being extremely quiet, this spoke to me loud and clear!!

Oh man. I totally am doing the ugly cry over here too. I could so relate to her when she said she felt like God was mean — I’ve had those moments — and him when he said that he felt like adoption wasn’t an option. I’d totally need God to change my heart if He has adoption in mind but I trust that if it’s His plan, it’s a beautiful one just like this story.

I watched this twice in a row and cried my eyes out (a couple of weeks ago). And Ron and Lynette Lewis pastored the church I was part of when I lived in NC. She freely shared of her desire to be a mommy over the years and the day they announced these twins I couldn’t stop crying! I love these stories of God’s faithful provision after a long, hard, wait. Thanks for sharing!

Wow – I just love stories with happy endings!!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing this – love how all of our paths are connecting and we all hear these “crazy” things from God and then BAM! it actually manifests in the natural. God is so funny like that…;-)

So appropriate for me to watch that video today. 6 years ago today we met our daughter for the very first time…I too felt like God had forgot us, or was teaching some sort of terrible lesson. But, His timing was perfect, and had I birthed all the children I wanted when I wanted, my husband and I would not have been considered to adopt her…and a life without my daughter is a life I wouldn’t want to live. I am in the process of finishing up a new blog post about out story. If you get a chance you should check it out.

This story is so amazing and beautiful!! My husband and I both watched it, and I’ve watched it numerous times again. Such an encouragement to us in our own journey! I’m not quite at that place of rest in my heart yet, but I want to be. That God is good and He loves us ALWAYS. Thank you for posting this, and I also want to say I am praying for you, Caroline and Colby, on your journey. Your courageous trust is an inspiration to me.

The first time I watched this video, I just cried and cried. They were tears of joy and amazement of our God’s awesomeness! This is the kind of testimony that I pray all of my infertile friends get to tell someday. I am so glad they made the time to put this movie together. God is good all the time.
