15 Nov Moms in the Making Infertility Support Conference – Day 2
Last week I shared a quick recap of day 1 of the Moms in the Making infertility support conference and today I am sharing day 2! Saturday the conference was held from 9am to 5:30pm so it was a full day and I have a lot to share. We kicked off the day by announcing our winner of our free IVF treatment given by IVF MD. The winner was in tears which made the moment extra special. We spent a few minutes praying over her as well as some of the other winners who received coupons towards discounted treatments.
We then transitioned into a Q&A panel where myself, Jessica Satterfield and Lauren Bourne all answered questions that had been previously asked by the attendees. The questions covered everything from fertility to faith. After the Q&A we had a time of worship and then spent some time praying over the attendees. It was a sweet time and I don’t quite have the words to describe how sweet and intimate it was. Lastly, we also announced our Renew Her winner for the year, Amber Strealy. If you want to learn more about the Renew Her I encourage you to check this post out that I wrote about last years winner.
Following the main morning session we had lunch and three breakthrough sessions. Colby and I were among 6 other amazing leaders and were honored to lead a session on marriage two times. If you want to listen it can be purchased here.
The last session started with worship and Jessica, our keynote speaker, spoke on becoming Oaks of Righteousness. After she shared, we had a team of prayer warriors come in and each attendee was able to receive prayer for their specific need. We did this last year as well and I think it’s such an important part! I love that every attendee was able to receive prayer.
The conference ended with a spontaneous worship dance party to one my current favorite songs, Raise a Hallelujah. It was so much fun and the perfect ending to an amazing conference!
