03 Jan Moms in the Making Fertility Support Group Updates
Happy New Year and Happy Friday! I wanted to start the year by giving an update on Moms in the Making, the faith-based fertility support group I am a part of.
Moms in the Making Fertility Support Group
I should probably begin with sharing a little bit about Moms in the Making, especially if you are new to this space. I founded Moms in the Making, a faith-based fertility support group, in 2013, a year after Colby and I were diagnosed with infertility.
What began as an in-person Christian support group in my home here in Dallas, TX later expanded to the online audience in 2015. In 2017, Moms in the Making became an official 501c3, non-profit organization, and we hosted our 1st conference. In 2018 we started launching support groups in various cities and since then we have continued to launch groups and host conferences! As of 2020, we have now hosted 3 conferences, bringing hundreds of women to Dallas from 35 states and 5 countries.
The Faithfulness of God
It doesn’t seem right sharing more about what is happening in 2020 without first thanking God for all He has done since 2013. Truly, the fruit from this ministry is due to His faithfulness. We have celebrated hundreds of miracle babies born to once hopeless, barren situations and celebrated hundreds of hearts healed from once hurting and broken women. He truly deserves all the glory and it’s been so fun to see Him work in mighty and impossible ways with and through this ministry.
Moms in the Making is now Bilingual!
Wow! Yes, Moms in the Making is now also in Spanish! We have a Spanish speaking virtual group starting this month as well as a Facebook group and Instagram account too!
41 Local In-Person Fertility Support Groups
Moms in the Making has expanded to 24 states and Canada. Amazing, right? We just launched 16 more support groups which start this month. We now have 41 support groups across North America!
These groups meet on a bi-monthly basis. You can learn more about these groups here, but for quick reference, below is a map of locations. If you are looking for local support and there is not a group in your city, you can apply to lead an infertility support group in your city!
In addition to the in-person groups, we have 4 virtual groups. We have a new Spanish-speaking infertility virtual group launching, two Moms in the Making virtual groups for those who don’t yet have a group in their city, and a Moms Made virtual group, which is a group for moms of miracle babies. There are plenty of ways to get plugged in, including our private Facebook group too.
2020 Moms in the Making Conference
This fall we are hosting our 4th Moms in the Making conference! It is taking place on October 2-3 in Dallas, TX. If you are someone who is struggling to get pregnant or stay pregnant or maybe you are just in the thick of infertility, please make sure to purchase your ticket because they are on sale now!
I know there are so many reasons that might hold you back from coming: you don’t live in Texas, it’s expensive to travel, you don’t know anyone, etc. But, can I encourage you to take a step of faith to join us? Your yes will bless you in more ways than you could ever imagine and I promise the only regret you will have is if you don’t end up coming to the conference.
In addition to lots of information on the Moms in the Making website, you can see our conference recaps here:
2017 Moms in the Making Conference: Part 1 and Part 2
2018 Moms in the Making Conference: Part 1 and Part 2
2019 Moms in the Making Conference: Part 1 and Part 2
Here are the highlight videos from both conferences and hopefully we will receive the 3rd highlight reel back soon:
We as a ministry absolutely love testimonies. We share them every Tuesday on our instagram and facebook accounts. And, we also have 3 testimonies recorded. I have shared these testimonies before but if you haven’t already seen them, I hope you take the time to watch them as I know they will bless you.

Caroline, You are doing such wonderful things encouraging others through your trials.. Although I am from another generation, I was born naturally 7 years after my parents were married and told they would never be able to have children. Hope this brings you a renewed outlook.
