04 Aug Moms in the Making Infertility Support Update – Fall 2022
It’s time for my bi-annual update of all things Moms in the Making, which is a Christian infertility support group. In this post you will find some history about Moms in the Making, information about the groups, conference, how to get involved and more!
Moms in the Making Infertility Support Group
Moms in the Making was founded in 2013, a year after Colby and I were diagnosed with infertility. What began as an in-person faith-based infertility support group in my home here in Dallas, TX later expanded to the online audience, via Facebook, in 2015. In 2017, Moms in the Making became an non-profit organization. It was later that year when we also hosted our first conference. At the beginning of 2018 we started launching Moms in the Making support groups in various cities.
Every year we host a infertility conference and we have now hosted 5 conferences, bringing women to Dallas from all over the US as well as many countries. You can see the highlight videos here:
2022 Moms in the Making Conference
This October we are hosting our 6th Moms in the Making conference, “Blessed is She!” It is taking place in Dallas, TX. It’s a 2-day event with main stage sessions, worship, breakthrough sessions, 1-on-1 prayer, an after party and MORE. Our keynote speaker this year is Jessica Satterfield, founder of the Garden ministry in Greenville, South Carolina and author of Partnering with Heaven.
If you are someone who is going through infertility or you are trying to grow your family, please make sure to purchase your ticket because they are on sale now! It’s going to be a powerful weekend and I would love to meet you there in person!
In addition to lots of information on the Moms in the Making website, you can see our conference recaps here:

57 In-Person Christian Infertility Support Groups
What began with 6 women in my living room in 2013 has now expanded to 57 support groups across America, Canada, Mexico and The Netherlands.
These groups meet two times a month all groups are starting a new semester so now is the best time to get plugged in. The curriculum this semester is called “Blessed is She.” The topics include faith, trusting God, expecting breakthrough, perseverance and more.
You can learn more about these groups here, but for quick reference, below is a map of locations. If you are looking for local support and there is not a group in your city, you can also join our virtual group or a apply to lead an infertility support group in your city!
18 Virtual Support Groups
For women who don’t have a local, in-person infertility support group in their city, we offer virtual groups. These virtual groups meet through zoom. We now have 18 virtual support groups available for women to join. 10 of those are Moms in the Making groups, 4 are Moms Made groups, which are for moms of miracles, 2 are Dutch-Speaking and 3 are Spanish-speaking group.
You can learn more about these here!
We as a ministry absolutely love testimonies. We share them every Tuesday on our instagram and facebook accounts. In addition, we have hundreds on our website which you can see here! We also have 4 testimonies recorded. I hope these videos bless you as much as they have me.
Night of Ministry
I shared a full post on this recently, but this past June we hosted a Night of Ministry for couples! It was so great to not only have the women their but the men their too. We hope to host more events like this in the future.
Please make sure to join the Moms in the Making faith-based infertility online Facebook group. In this group we share prompts, questions, scriptures, host prayer videos and more. In addition, we give you an opportunity to sign up for prayer partners and card exchanges. You can join here.
The support team sends support via the mail to those women who have endured a loss, due to a miscarriage, stillbirth or infant loss. To join the support team, click here.
We host prayer partner signups every 4 months. Our heart for prayer partners is to connect two women together who can encourage, support and pray for one another.
We believe that once a woman has their baby, they still need support, which is why we have created an extension of Moms in the Making, called Moms Made. Our Moms Made Facebook and virtual groups are for women who have a miracle baby at home after going through infertility.
We host Friday intro on the first Friday of the month. This is great way to connect and meet others in the Moms in the Making community. To join, simply share a picture of yourself on your IG or FB feed and share a little bit about yourself. Include #MITMfridayintro so you can find others who shared and then connect with them too!
We host card exchanges for Mother’s Day and Christmas.
