Moms in the Making Spring 2022 Update
Hello! Twice a year I try to give an update of what is happening within Moms in the Making and today is one of those days! Below I have information about how Moms in the Making got started, our 70 groups, our 6th conference, testimonies, how to get involved and more!
Moms in the Making Infertility Support Group
Moms in the Making was founded in 2013, a year after Colby and I were diagnosed with infertility. What began as an in-person Christian support group in my home here in Dallas, TX later expanded to the online audience in 2015. In 2017, Moms in the Making became an official 501c3, non-profit organization and we also hosted our first conference in 2017. In 2018 we started launching support groups in various cities.
We have now hosted 5 infertility conferences, bringing women to Dallas from all over the US as well as many countries. You can see the highlight videos here:
2022 Moms in the Making Conference
This fall we are hosting our 6th Moms in the Making conference! It is taking place on October 7-8 in Dallas, TX. If you are someone who is facing difficulty as you try to grow your family, please make sure to purchase your ticket because they are on sale now! I promise you… you will want to be there! The weekend will be full of speakers, worship, breakout sessions, prayer and more.

53 Local In-Person Infertility Support Groups
What began with 6 women in my living room in 2013 has now expanded to 53 support groups across America and Canada.
These groups meet on a bi-monthly basis and all groups are starting a new semester so now is the best time to get plugged in. The curriculum this semester is on “Transformation by the Renewing of Your Mind.” Topics like grief, disappointment, jealousy and more will be discussed and it’s going to be a powerful semester of healing and breakthrough.
You can learn more about these groups here, but for quick reference, below is a map of locations. If you are looking for local support and there is not a group in your city, you can also join our virtual group or a apply to lead an infertility support group in your city!
17 Virtual Support Groups
For women who don’t have a local group in their city, we now have 17 virtual support groups. 10 of those are Moms in the Making groups, 4 are Moms Made groups, which are for moms of miracles, 2 are Dutch-Speaking and 1 is a Spanish-speaking group.

Fertility Testimonies
We as a ministry absolutely love testimonies. We share them every Tuesday on our instagram and facebook accounts. In addition, we have hundreds on our website which you can see here! We also have 4 testimonies recorded. I hope these videos bless you as much as they have me.
Online Support
Please make sure to join the Moms in the Making Facebook group. In this group we share prompts, questions, scriptures, host prayer videos and more. In addition, we give you an opportunity to sign up for prayer partners and card exchanges. You can join here.
Support Team
The support team sends support via the mail to those women who have endured a loss, due to a miscarriage, stillbirth or infant loss. To join the support team, click here.
Prayer Partners
We host prayer partner signups every 4 months. Our heart for prayer partners is to connect two women together who can encourage, support and pray for one another.
Moms Made
We believe that once a woman has their baby, they still need support, which is why we have created an extension of Moms in the Making, called Moms Made. Our Moms Made Facebook and virtual groups are for women who have a miracle baby at home after going through infertility.
Friday Intro
We host Friday intro on the first Friday of the month. This is great way to connect and meet others in the Moms in the Making community. To join, simply share a picture of yourself on your IG or FB feed and share a little bit about yourself. Include #MITMfridayintro so you can find others who shared and then connect with them too!
Card Exchanges
We host card exchanges for Mother’s Day and Christmas.

Please know this group is open to any married woman, who in partnership with their husband, is trying to grow their family. Whether you are pursuing medical treatments, adoption, foster care, taking a break, pursuing a natural route or something else, you are invited to be a part and there is a place for YOU!
