10 Nov Moms in the Making Conference – Day 2

Day 2 of the conference! Where to begin? Well it’s best to begin with day 1 which you can see here.

Day 2 was just as much a blur to me as day 1, so again I will be sharing more photos than I will be text. There is no way to put into words everything that happened, but I am going to try to provide an overall summary!

We started out the morning with a few announcements and giveaways, followed by worship, the amazing testimony from one of our board members (see video below) our 2nd speaker of the conference, Lauren Bourne.

After Lauren spoke we had a big surprise for the women, called the Renew Her Award which you can read all about here.

The next part of the day was breakthrough sessions. The women got to go to 3 of 5 breakthrough sessions with some of the most powerful and annoited leaders. The topics were Marriage, Heartfelt Passionate Prayer, Keeping Hope Alive, Grief Support and Uprooting lies.

After the sessions and lunch, we gathered back together for more worship and then the 3rd speaker of the conference, me.

After I spoke we had a whole prayer team of ladies come to the conference to pray over each attendee. This was so important to us as we wanted every woman to get prayer. It was such a beatiful time that I will never be able to put into words.

When each attendee left we had yet another gift. As a board, it was also very important that each attendee leave with a gift of faith so we had a swaddle from Modern Burlap and a pacifier that said “worth the wait” for every attendee. 

The conference wasn’t over! We had an after-party too, which I hope to share at another time!
