13 Dec Moms in the Making – Session Two Update

Six. Six girls are pregnant in our Moms in the Making group right now.

We originally started the group with 7 girls. If you remember, after the summer session, there were 2 girls pregnant. There are now a total of 10. That means 60% of the girls are pregnant. 5 of those 6 were natural pregnancies!! How cool is that? And, one of the girls who is pregnant had been trying for 7ish years! Wow!

If this isn’t a testimony to what God is doing, I’m not sure what is?! He is bringing so much life and I have loved celebrating each and every story. It’s been a wonderful group of ladies with lots to celebrate. We walk through the highs and lows with each other each week; every appointment, every pregnancy test, every prayer request, every disappointment, and every celebration. I’m expectant and believing for more pregnancies, even hopeful for more by the end of this year.

The first girl to get pregnant in the group is my sweet friend Katie. I still remember the night she told us and the chills I had all over my body. I remember Colby and I praying together that night and being so awestruck by the Lord’s goodness that I had no words to say. I sat there so amazed at His faithfulness. We give God all the praise and honor. He is the only explanation for all the babies on the way! I’m so blessed to have met each one of these girls and celebrate all the life on the way!

We are taking a break for the holiday and will meet back up in January! Excited for new girls to come and more pregnancies to be celebrated! Thank you Jesus!
