3 Things To Consider When You’re Struggling to Conceive

Today, Gabriela Rosa, who is the founder and director of www.NaturalFertilityBreakthrough.com is sharing the importance of educating yourself to optimize your chances of conceiving. If you know anything about me, you know how passionate I am about eating healthy, so I hope her tips encourage you. Difficulties conceiving and keeping a healthy pregnancy to term affect 1 in 6 couples trying to have a baby, yet too often people suffer this trial in isolation from millions of others who also need support on this journey. When you’ve been trying to conceive for months (or years), it’s easy to feel like you’re the only one struggling.

As we know, God helps those who help themselves and the good news is that here are many things you can do naturally to help prepare your body to overcome infertility and miscarriage to create the healthy baby of your dreams.

Things that may affect a couple’s fertility range across dietary, lifestyle, environmental, biochemical, physical and emotional realms having both a direct and indirect impact on your ability to take home a healthy baby.

Creating a healthy pregnancy to term requires two healthy prospective parents and the right preparation helps to give your body the best possible chance of conceiving. Any positive action you and your partner start implementing, and any harmful behaviour you both stop can only boost your fertility. Keep in mind though that when it comes to fertility results don’t just manifest overnight.

From a scientific standpoint, typically the egg takes a minimum 120 to 240 days to fully mature (primordial to primary follicle takes approximately 120 days and primary to ovulatory follicle takes another 120 days).  The sperm takes approximately 100 days to form through one sperm cycle – sometimes requiring 2-3 cycles to reach optimum health through lifestyle interventions.

The more you educate yourself and become proactive regarding what you can do to optimize your chances of creating a healthy baby—the sooner you get hold your baby in your arms.

Here are some steps you can begin immediately:

* Eat the colors of the rainbow, ideally organic, and base your meals on vegetables and protein

*Drink good quality, filtered water, stored in glass bottles

*Avoid dairy, gluten, excess sugar, trans fats and junk food and subsequently you’ll attain a healthy weight for your fertility

*Quit smoking, coffee and alcohol;

*Exercise regularly

*Sleep well

*Stress less

*Minimise fertility toxins in your home
