Stork OTC Review + Giveaway
If you know anything about me, you know that I love things to be as natural as possible. Whether that is eating a clean diet or it’s avoiding chemicals by using essential oils and natural products, it’s important to me to take a natural approach. This natural approach applies to our fertility journey as well.
You might also know that we aren’t pursuing medical invention with our route to having babies, which is why I love products like the Stork OTC. The Stork OTC allows couples, like us, to also take a natural approach. This is a great option for couples who haven’t had success with conception, but also aren’t ready to make an appointment with their doctor to pursue treatments.
So what is it? The Stork OTC is the only FDA-cleared at home-use conception device to be used during ovulation to assist your chance of becoming pregnant. It is similar to an Intrauterine insemination (IUI) which is a non-invasive procedure that many couples pursue before moving onto Invitro Fertilization (IVF), however it’s used in the confines of your own home without any doctors or medicinal assistance. The Stork OTC combines an applicator and an established conception technique— cervical cap insemination.
The Stork OTC allows couples to still choose natural intercourse as their method of conception. It collects semen into the cervical cap with a condom-like sheath worn during intercourse and is then delivered to the opening of the cervix by way of the applicator. The cap remains in place for up to 6 hours, after which it is removed with a simple tampon-like pull chord.
The Stork OTC is $79.99 for a single-use device which is a great price considering how much fertility treatments and doctors appointments cost. It is available in the US at select CVS stores and online at www.cvs.com/thestorkotc. You can see a full list of retailers, by visiting www.storkotc.com. I will be participating in the #StorkStories Twitter Chat this Thursday, June15th at 9pm Eastern and you are welcome to join for a chance to win a Stork OTC device. In addition, you can enter to win a device using the rafflecopter below.
