21 Aug Announcing Our Non-Profit!

Wahoooo!! I never know that when I had a group of ladies, who were going through infertility, over to my house in June of 2013 that we would still be meeting. I never knew that the group would celebrate over 40 miracle babies, just 4 years later. I never knew that the local group would eventually expand to the online community in 2015. I never knew that the we would be hosting a conference where women from all over the world would come and gather to receive hope. And I sure never knew that when I started that group, we would soon be planning to launch Moms in the Making groups into communities all around the United States and perhaps the world.

Not because I don’t dream. Not because I don’t believe. Not because I don’t have faith. I really just had no idea what God had in store. I simply said yes when he called me to lead a group and I never could have known all that he would continue to do.

But, it doesn’t stop there.

I never knew that the same group would eventually become an official non-profit business.

That is right, Moms in the Making is officially official. God has upgraded us, shown us so much favor and we can now say that we are a faith-based fertility support group that is also a registered 501c3, non-profit company. 

I know what you might be thinking, is it really that big of a deal? Well to me, who has spent hours upon hours working and praying for Moms in the Making, it is. And to my husband, who spent hours and hours of paperwork it is. And to the other ladies who have helped, guided and prayed, it is!

We now are registered as a business. We now have a board. We are now official. This group would not be where it is without the help of so many of the members, the board and friends, so a big shout out of thanks for this announcement goes to them.

So what is next for Moms in the Making? First the conference, then launching groups into other cities and then after that? Well if you read above, you can probably guess that I truly have no idea what door God will open next. I know that I’m excited about for whatever it will be though and I’m honored that I get to be a part of it all.
