May Favorites

For years I have seen other bloggers share a monthly post with their favorite items from the month and I am finally joining in. Although this is primary a faith-based blog and I don’t want to stray away from that, I also think it’s time to do some more lighthearted posts, which is why I decided to share some of my favorites from the Month of May! I am not sure if this is a one time thing or I will continue doing so, but I guess time will tell!

May Favorites - In Due Time BlogThis post contains affiliate links

Book – The Circle Maker – This book is a must. We are just finishing it up in my local Moms in the Making group and I can’t recommend it enough. It’s all about praying circles around your dreams. Whether you like to read or not, I high suggest you pick up a copy of this book.

Scripture – Philippians 4:6-7 -“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

Song – There is a Cloud – Elevation Worship – I just posted about this song the other day and I promise it’s worth a listen. I currently have it on repeat!

Post – My Big Life Change  – Wahoo!!!

Beauty – Big Sexy Hair Spray – $19 for one bottle of hair spray, say whhhattt? Right, I know. I am still having buyer’s remorse, but I got 3 bottles because they were buy 2 get 1 free and news flash, Ulta always has a coupon too. I was tired of buying the $4 bottle and them not working, but thankfully this actually holds my hair in place. Also, I somehow just discovered hair spray over the past year. Where has it been all my life?

Fitness – Fitbit Blaze – I can not say enough about this watch. It took me a long time to join the FitBit craze, but once I got this, I was just as obsessed as everyone else. I tell Colby all the time this has been by far one of the best purchases we have ever made it. I was debating between the Blaze and the Surge but I am so glad I chose this one!

Clothing – American Eagle Super Hi-Rise Jegging – I am always looking for a good pair of jeans, but can never, ever find one. I am also not willing to spend the big bucks and although these were more than I wanted to spend, they had a sale when I got them so I bit the bullet and I am so glad I did. They are so comfortable and stretchy and the material fits just perfect.

Shoes – Women’s Shamos Wedge Sandal –  I got these in store, with a coupon for $13!!! They are so comfy and super fun. I have only had them for a few weeks, but I love them already!

Jewelry – Stella & Dot Delilah – I love this necklace and it goes with everything!

Health Young Living Citrus Fresh – I use this oil all the time! I love to add it to our smoothies, put a drop in my water or diffuse it!

That is my list for the month of May. What about you? Do you have any favorites?

Good to know you love the FitBit Blaze.. I’m debating against that & the Garmin tracker that is similar…
QUESTION – does it have GPS in it or do you have to use it with your phone to track?

YAAAAS! I love this “Favorites” post. “The Circle Maker” is one of my favorite books. I think I’ve read it 3x now! I”m always looking for a good pair of jeans as well. They are so hard to find! What do you love about the FitBit surge? Also, can you change straps with it?

I really enjoyed this post!! Of course I like all of your post, but it is something a little different from you 🙂 I know hair spray would probably help my hair tremendously I just can’t make myself use it, maybe I’m just too lazy with my hair. haha Love those shoes and that’s my kind of price!

I have seen these types of posts too and I think people like to connect with bloggers on some kind of lower level.. I do love your picks and can associate with the first set as I am always for Biblical encouragement. And by the way, glad you found something that works for your hair – mine’s a struggle too.

Bath bombs from Wholefoods and Clinique sunscreen are currently my go-tos. Also, I got the Boom lipstick/blush stick and I love it.

Haha, my husband is OBSESSED with his FitBit. I often see him walking in circles, swinging his arms right before bedtime, trying to reach his goal for number of steps! I have one, too, but I’m not as into it as he is.

What a great verse! Need to remember to remember that, if that made any sense, hehe!

That books sounds awesome! And girl, that verse has been on repeat in my head…I think my biggest struggle is anxiety. I love the Big Sexy Hair dry shampoo though it’s too expensive for me to buy often. Good to know that the hair spray works well too. I like favorites posts – someday I need to find time to post again…someday!
