29 Jun Moms in the Making 5th Birthday Party

This past Saturday we celebrated Moms in the Making‘s 5th birthday by hosting a party! We wanted to host an event to celebrate all that God has done and his faithfulness over the past 5 years. From the first meeting in my home in June 2013 to where we are now is simply amazing and all credit and glory goes to God!

The birthday party was very low-key, but we had lots of fun giveaways, a cake, a photo-booth and a balloon artist. It was so wonderful to have so many people who not only currently attend Moms in the Making, but to see some woman who were part of the group when it started five years ago too. In addition to those who have attended or currently attend Moms in the Making, there was also other friends, family and people from the community who came to celebrate and support us as well.

It was amazing to see just how many people’s lives have been changed through this group. And the amount of families there with children was simply very surreal. There was probably more children there than adults which just goes to show the faithfulness of God. A dream for me would be to get a picture of the 50+ Dallas babies, but let’s be honest, that would be very, very hard to do!

The party was honestly such a blur to me but it was such an honor and joy to have so many people come out and celebrate all God has done. Thank you everyone for your continued support and prayers.
