Seven Year Anniversary
Today Colby and I are celebrating our 7 year wedding anniversary. 7 years! I just can’t believe it. April 9, 2011 will forever be one of the best days of my life.
Our wedding took place in Dallas, TX where we met and live now. We got married at the church we met at and then had a reception at a country club with around 160 of our closest friends and family. I have nothing but good memories from that day, from the second Colby and I had our first look to leaving the reception as everyone held their sparklers, we had a blast.
The years since that day have been filled with many trials, but we haven’t let that stop us from enjoying our marriage. I am so thankful for every day with Colby and it helps that Colby is the most patient and selfless man and loves me so well. He has never for a second wavered in his love and faith and I just love how easy and fun it is to be married to him. God truly blessed me with more than I could ask or imagine by making Colby my husband.
We are so thankful to everyone who has supported us and prayed for us in our marriage and our journey to becoming parents! Oh and if you have been reading this blog for more than a year, than the pictures below will be nothing new. I know this gets a little repetitive, but I can’t not share this big day and there are only a handful of pictures I like, so I share those same ones every year!
PS. If you are going through infertility, please head over to join a faith-based support group I founded, Moms in the Making!

Posted at 08:37h, 09 AprilIsnt it crazy to look back at wedding pictures & know how much life lays ahead of you from that moment & that those 2 people really have no idea what lays ahead? I think of that every time I go to a wedding now… marriage & life is nothing like you think it will be on that day at the altar. Why you need to make sure you have a good partner to go through it all with .
Happy Anniversary!
