Thankful – 2013
Earlier this month, I posted about how thankful I am for this trial we are in. In light of the Thanksgiving holiday, I linked up with Sybil and Susannah and today I’m sharing everything else I’m thankful for. It was fun to reflect on last year’s list too.
- Colby moving back home
- The trial & journey to becoming parents
- Blue sock moments
- Overwhelming peace and joy from the Lord, despite the circumstances around us
- 5 days celebrating Thanksgiving with my 2 parents, 2 brothers, 2 sister-in-laws, 2 nieces, 2 nephews and Colby
- A fun year of traveling to Austin, Tulsa, Kansas City, Mexico, Pacific Northwest and next week to California
- Attending Women of Faith and Beth Moore Conferences
- Completing my first triathlon
- A supportive, loving, dedicated, selfless husband who let’s me see glimpses of Jesus every day because of the outpouring of love He gives
- Changing our lifestyles and becoming more healthy
- Surrendering complete control to the Lord in the baby making department
- All the friendship that have been formed because of the blogging community
- Meeting Melanie at the airport and the life changing events that occurred because of it
- Moving to a new church where everyone is dedicated to our journey and walking in agreement with us that we will be parents soon
- My niece being born
- A ridiculous amount of good sermons, verses, and songs to help grow and encourage me on this journey
- The army of friends and family members who are involved in our journey and are praying for us every day
- The healing service we go to every other week
- 7.5 years at my job
- All the life around me – so many babies to celebrate
- Most importantly, our God, who is so completely faithful and amazing, it just boggles my mind

Also, I just wanted to let you know that I can’t comment on your blog at work (I have no idea why!) so you don’t hear from me often but I REALLY like your blog and often want to comment when I can’t!
