Valentine’s Day Decor

Happy February, otherwise known as the month of love! The focus of this month is usually on love between a couple, but it’s also a reminder to me of my relationship with Jesus. I can love others because “Christ first loved me” 1 John 4:19. Whether you have someone to spend Valentine’s Day or not, I hope you know how much you are loved by HIM!

“I found the one my heart loves.” Song of Solomon 3:4

I have never been one to get into Valentine’s Day, but I do love the opportunity to spend more time with Colby. It usually looks like a quiet night at home with dinner, a movie, and a card, which is just how I like it. When it comes to decorating, I haven’t even tried for any holiday other than Christmas. Well now that has changed as I recently picked up some fun frames + signs from Family Christian! As I have mentioned before, there is so much I love about that store and I was so blessed to shop there for Valentines Day decor!

What I love about the decor that I found is that it’s neutral and not all pink and red. While I love those colors, they aren’t my go to picks when it comes to decorating. We have a hutch when you walk in our house and I chose to display the decor there. I love that most if not all of these decorations can be used year-round!

All of the decor I am sharing was generously provided by Family Christian but my selections and opinions are all my own.

Valentine’s Day is man made. It should only be for those not yet married, a secret love. It has been taken over by consumerism. As Christians we should love every day and if you need to show it with cards and flowers then surprise each other any old day.

Very pretty! I love Valentine’s Day as just a reminder to show a little extra love and it gives me an excuse to decorate extra girly for a month or so 🙂

I like that the deor is neutral. I used to love VDay. Not as much anymore. But I’m just an old married lady. 🙂

This is perfect and able to be used year-round even! I’m not big on Valentine’s Day either, it just seems like an odd holiday to call a holiday at all. I must get to my local store this week to see what they have, ours is on the “other side” of town but these look like perfect reasons to make a trip out there! Thanks for sharing!!

So pretty! Thanks for sharing! We like that store, too…and Lifeway Christian, also. So thankful we can find Biblical things to incorporate into our decorating!
