{October Date Night} Last night we went on a much- {October Date Night} Last night we went on a much-needed date night. After missing our monthly date in September and navigating conference season, it was long over-due. It also happen to land on the day we got engaged! 💍 A perfect reason to celebrate! We ate at our favorite Mexican restaurant, which we hadn’t been to in years, and then went to an amazing 3-hour worship service. Good food and encountering Jesus together? It’s for sure our favorite kind of date! 🙌🏼 If you live in the North Dallas area, what are some of your favorite restaurants? We are going to try somewhere new next month!🍴
{11 Years} I’m celebrating all the fun things th {11 Years} I’m celebrating all the fun things this week. 🥳 Yesterday was the anniversary for my book, #induetimedevotional, and 11 years ago today Colby asked me to marry him! 💑 The easiest YES of my life! Last night Colby and I were going through photos and videos from our engagement day and it was so fun to reminisce on such a special day! The videos reminded me just how shocked I was. These are some of our @momsinthemaking leaders who came from the US, Canada and Mexico to attend our leader hangout before our 5th Moms in the Making conference. Leadership is not easy, which is why I admire these women so much. They have sacrificed their time and finances. They have opened their home, creating a safe place for women to feel loved and seen. They have celebrated miracles while they have waited for their own. They have poured into the women attending their group. {Latergram} Today I’m sharing a picture that I t {Latergram} Today I’m sharing a picture that I took five months ago when I flew out to South Carolina to celebrate the gender reveal of @gracewhilewewait’s miracle! 🎀 What an honor it has been to contend with her so many years and then celebrate seeing the fulfillment of the promise in her womb. 😭 She now enters an “any day now” season as she waits to meet her miracle baby and at the same time she continues to contend with me as cry out “any day now Lord” to find out that there’s life in my womb. She has been just as present with me in my wait as I have been in her celebration. I believe this is what Kingdom friendship looks like — grieving and celebrating all at the same time, which is exactly what we have done together over the years. 😭💛 Thankfully it’s her celebration season and next time I see her it will be to meet her promise fulfilled. 💞 PS. {Day Date} Today Colby had the day off from work b {Day Date} Today Colby had the day off from work because of the holiday and we spent the whole day together which was so needed and absolutely glorious! We found a walking trail right outside of our neighborhood that Colby told me was going to be 3 miles. But he meant one-way. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Considering I have barely moved much the past few months I was absolutely done by the time we got home. 🥴 We spent the afternoon running a ton of errands and hanging out pool-side, followed by a very fancy pizza dinner. 😆 I wish every day could be just like today! 😎 Did you or your spouse get the day off from work? 🤔

And it was my moms b-day so we celebrated hers too! 🥳 While together we managed to snag a pic with most of the littles minus 2 who were definitely not interested. 😑😜 Anyone else get together with the fam to celebrate birthdays? 🎂 🎁 🍰
{That’s a Wrap} Our 5th @momsinthemaking confere {That’s a Wrap} Our 5th @momsinthemaking conference has come to an end! 😭🙌🏼 After all the planning and preparation it’s always surreal when it’s over! 😵 A massive shoutout to these ladies, our Moms in the Making board. This conference would not have been possible without them and I am forever grateful for the endless hours they poured in to make it happen! Also a big thank you to every single person who volunteered, as well as the attendees who came in town from 30+ states and 3 countries! I know the Father did so much all weekend and I’m looking forward to hearing all the testimonies of breakthrough and healing in the months and years to come! 💥 If you were there, what was your favorite part? {Friday Intro} It’s time for Friday intro and in {Friday Intro} It’s time for Friday intro and in honor of the @momsinthemaking conference being ONE weekend away I’m doing a @momsinthemaking edition! 💥 •I started leading a group in my home in June of 2013 and at that time there were just 6 women total. •I led a group in my home for 6 years and eventually, in August of 2019, transitioned out of leading a local group. •This will be my 5th conference and I feel SO expectant! •I’ve poured my heart and soul into this ministry because I believe in the mission and know that the Lord’s blessing and favor are all over it! •My favorite part of being in this ministry is having a front row seat to hundreds and hundreds of miracles. The miracle babies are absolutely amazing but even more so is God healing hearts. In my mind there is nothing better than a woman coming in hurting, grieving, bitter, hopeless and angry and leaving a completely different person — full of hope, joyful, peaceful and completely on fire for Jesus!!!!
