30 May Arizona Date
Colby and I got back on Tuesday from a 5 day date to Arizona. It was such a good getaway! Besides the fires in Sedona changing our plans, we had great weather and a wonderful time together. We hiked every day and the hikes in Phoenix were no joke – no one warned me it was boulder hiking and straight up (at least it seemed that way)! Although Grand Canyon was the longest hike we did (8 miles) it was definitely the easiest – and also the most picturesque. There is something about nature and the beauty of the earth that leaves me in awe. The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Psalm 19:1

If you haven’t been to Arizona or the Grand Canyon and you like to travel I would add it to your bucket list – especially if you can travel using miles and hotel points. Arizona is a great weekend trip to take!
