I just returned from a 3 day trip to San Francisco. This trip wasn’t a vacation although I did have fun. I was invited by Jake and Deborah from Fertility IQ to attend fertility base camp. What did that entail? There were 6 bloggers invited and the purpose was to gather information, brain storm, and figure out how we can support the fertility community better. We met with several doctors, a financial expert, a therapist, toured Instagram and spent the whole weekend discussing what we can do for the fertility community. The good news is there will be a further recap later because we are all gathering our notes, but for now I am giving a quick recap with pictures.
The fun part was I got to meet several friends who I have been following for 3+ years. And, I met some ladies who I wasn’t as familiar with. I’ve linked all their profiles below, so be sure to stop by the blogs and follow their stories. And, if you haven’t already, make sure to head over to Fertility IQ to learn more about what they are doing and more importantly, rate any doctor you have seen. This will not only help you on your journey, but will help all those around you who are also on a similar journey.
The weekend kept us super busy in meetings and on top of that I got super sick the first night so there were some definitely some rough parts. We didn’t get too see much of San Francisco, but we did go to the Farmer’s Market, get a great view of the Golden Gate bridge and have a fun outing bowling too! Be sure to check in over the next few weeks for further details on what all we learned.
