A Bittersweet Ending

Bittersweet Ending Infertility Christian supporr group moms in the making dallas texas

Last night I closed a door to a 6 year chapter of my life, a very bittersweet ending. For 6 years, every other week (and crazily enough, once upon a time, every week) I have been opening my doors to women who are struggling through infertility and trying to grow their family.

It’s really where Moms in the Making all began. June 2013 is when I first had 6 women in my living room. And ever since then women have been walking through my doors looking for support on their infertility journey.

It’s crazy to see how God has expanded this ministry. Not only is there one group, but now there are 30 Moms in the Making support groups across the United States. Oh how He uses our yes to further His Kingdom!

We have seen so much life and fruitfulness out of the Dallas group. God has performed miracle after miracle. While I love celebrating all the babies, what delights my heart even more are the hearts that have been transformed and the friendships that have been made. Truly, I have connected with so many friends that I know will last a lifetime. And the added bonus of celebrating 65+ miracle babies is just beyond me!

This really is such a bittersweet ending, and in all honesty, one that hasn’t quite hit me yet. But I have been reminding myself saying no to good things allows me to say yes to even better things. I recall the things I had to say no to, that were also good, so I could lead this group for Moms in the Making. And I will continue to believe that me closing this chapter will allow me to say yes to other things God has for me.

Our group will now transition to another leader so whether you live in the Dallas area and are looking for support on your infertility journey or you live somewhere else across the country, there is a group for you! You can learn more by heading to www.MomsintheMakingGroup.com

Good for you, girl! I love that you’ve equipped women to carry on the work, and you can free up time for other things you are uniquely gifted for. Go, girl!

You are and forever will be our guardian angel! I still remember the first time I came to a meeting where I poured my heart out and was loved so deeply by you. Thank you for opening up your home and heart to us, Caroline! And so excited for you to be saying ‘yes’ to more amazing works of God!
